Why am I here?

Hey. Thanks very much for checking out my blog.
So this blog is primarily about interactive design and emerging web design technology. To love something you’ve got get close to it, cuddle up to, learn it, know it, and enjoy it.
That’s how I roll.
As a note, I will also be posting funny stories, game / movie reviews, coffee related awesomeness and opinions; but that wouldn’t work in a clever blog title.

The Man Behind the Pillow

My name is Shawn Borsky. Put simply, I am an interactive designer by skill and at heart.

The basics are:  I love good design, I love creating interactive experiences and cool new things, I love enjoying coffee ( a wonderous beverage ) , I love my girlfriend, Rachel ( who made me the pillow that serves as my trusty icon for this blog), I love my friends, and life.

That’s it, I savor the simple things in life: A great cup of coffee, a job well-done, a good meal with friends, a fun game or a satisfying movie.

So, where do I design? Well, I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2008 with a degree in Interactive Design and Game Development, while in school I founded an interactive company with a good friend of mine, Richmond Chaisiri ( http://art-eater.com) and ever since then we have grown from sleepless nights in a dorm, to sleepless weekends in a garage, to sleepless weeks in an office and we have been loving it all the way.

Although, I’ve started checking out this sleep thing recently, it’s pretty sweet.
